When you look at the graphic below, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that women face all the problem they do these days with weight loss and body image. Taking one example, Mannequins in the 50s had larger waists and smaller hips. Basically they had more of a normal achievable body shape. Todays Mannequins in total contrast have 31 inch waists and 37 inch hips. This is a body shape most women will never be able to achieve.
Let’s be real — we’re fighting an uphill battle against all the things on this graphic.
