Daniel Craig met his now-wife Rachel Weisz back in the 90s. They both went their separate ways, before reconnecting on the set of Dream House in 2010. They began dating, and six months later they married in secret, when Craig was 43 and Weisz was 41. Craig remarked later, “The movie didn’t turn out great. But I met my wife. Fair trade.”

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum

After what seemed like a hopeless search, Paris Hilton finally found her happily ever after in businessman Carter Reum in 2019. The pair documented their wedding with the hit show Paris In Love, showing the couple saying their heartfelt vows in 2021 when Hilton and Reum were both 40 years old.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

After a failed on-again, off-again relationship with Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian finally found her better half in Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker. The couple were friends for 15 years before they realized they had feelings for one another, finally caving in and tying the knot in 2022, when Barker was 46 and Kardashian 43.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari

Britney Spears had a ‘toxic’ relationship with love – until she met Sam Asghari, a personal trainer on the set of one of her music videos. Asghari (12 years Spears’ junior) courted the pop icon, saying he had “butterflies” when they first met. They finally married in 2022 when Spears was 40 years old. Let’s hope that Spears’s third husband doesn’t prove to be a ‘womanizer.’

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

“I couldn’t take my eyes off him,” Neil Patrick Harris told Out magazine about chef David Burtka. Meeting as friends on a street corner in 2004, it took a decade until the couple finally wed in September 2014 (barely three months after New York State legalised same-sex marriage), when Harris was 41 and Burtka 39. They’re still together and have twin sons born by surrogate.

Julianne Moore has been with director Bart Freundlich for almost 27 years. Saying their “I dos” when Moore was 42 and Freundlich 33. Moore’s advice for a long, happy relationship? “My God, I think they really have to make you laugh. If they don’t make you laugh, it’s just deadly,” she told People magazine.

Chelsea Handler’s path to love hasn’t been easy. Forming a friendship that simmered for two decades, Handler began dating comedian Jo Koy in 2021. Sadly they called it off a year later, but all wasn’t lost. Handler took to Instagram to say: “To be loved and adored by @jokoy has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. He renewed my faith in men.”

Elton John and David Furnish

Music legend Elton John was 46 when he met filmmaker David Furnish (then 29) back in 1993. After a civil union in 2005, they wed in 2014 after Britain legalised same-sex marriage. Elton told Parade that he and Furnish “fell in love very quickly”, and that he was “attracted to David immediately.” They have two sons born by surrogate.
