Oscar came to The Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence, Rhode Island when he was just a kitten. The staff adopted him and he took on a very vital role for the nursing home. Oscar has the uncanny ability to sense when patients are on the downfall and will hang around to give them company in their time of need. This allows the family members to prepare for the worst and notifies the nurses that help is needed. Animals are truly unbelievable.
