Kelly Gunderson was getting used to her mother losing her memory to the terrible disease that is Altzheimer’s. She was also getting used to the truly upsetting feeling that her own mother was forgetting who she was.

The day of this video, she had visited her mother in the usual routine when she decided to film a little chat between the two of them. You can see that at the start of the video, Kelly’s mother does not really know who she is as she is showing little recognition. Then amazingly she seems to start to remember her daughter. She tells her “I love Kelly and didn’t I name you Kelly”? Her mother then tells her sometimes she doesn’t know what she is thinking about but at that moment she is thinking about how much she loves her daughter.
You can only imagine what an amazing and precious moment this was for the two of them to share no matter how brief.
