Women may think they know what we want however, that is not always the case. If you ask us, we will say that we want someone who is tall dark and handsome however matchmakers can tell you that is not the truth. Unlike women, men are visual. They fall in love through their eyes, although this seems to be superficial and shallow, it is the truth. However women fall in love through their ears. We care more about the whole package, we value men’s personalities’ and how they treat us. What I’m trying to get across is that looks aren’t important to all women. Don’t get it twisted; a man’s physical appearance is important to some women but most women want MORE than that. A nice looking man who is in good shape, dresses well and possesses all of the below characteristics is what we really want! Take a look:
1. Kind and Caring
Women want someone who is nice and kind-hearted. Someone that they can become best friends with and see as a partner and an equal. Most importantly women want someone who can make them feel good.
2. Brains
Women want someone they can learn from. Someone who will broaden our horizons because lets face it, Intelligence is sexy.
3. Sense of Humor
Women LOVE men who can make them laugh. There is no science to it, it’s just fact, we appreciate a witty man.
4. Confidence
Confidence is definitely different than being cocky, women like men to be sure of themselves and have their actions reflected that. Women tend to be naturally drawn to men who are confident.
5. Charisma
Women flock to men who are charming and have big personalities. We find men to be more interesting when their personalities are very apparent.
6. Balance
Showing you how to prioritize your life is a big deal to women. We want to see that you can balance your job, family, friends, and a relationship. Because it is important to make sure women feel like they are an essential part of your life.

7. Good Listener
A man who is a good listener is a true catch because women are more emotional than men and it is important that we feel like you are hearing what we are saying.
8. Thoughtfulness
Being thoughtful to women means showing that you care. Examples of being thoughtful are if we mention we love a certain restaurant, surprise us and plan a date there. If we say we love a particular flower, bring us flowers on the next date. If we tell you we’re eager to see a specific movie or play, get tickets and take us. A man who’s considerate is very sexy.
9. Go’s with the Flow
Women like to date someone who can adjust to a situation. Whether it is a fancy work dinner or watching the game with the family. It is important to us to have a man that can keep up with the multiple “hats” we wear.
10. Presentable
Although we stated that appearance isn’t everything it is important to mention that being presentable is. Women want to date a man who can dress nice. Personally I’m a sucker for any guy in a button down with a sweater. The psychology behind dressing well is that when you are well dressed you are telling the world that you value yourself.
